CILT offer international professional qualifications in logistics and transport, at both certificate and diploma levels.

As a Territorial Organisation, the CILT in the UK have a dedicated professional development and qualifications team that offer a wide range of services both in the UK and overseas. At CILT we want to make sure that employers, training providers and students have access to the most appropriate methods of learning and development for their particularly situation – so in some cases it may be helpful to look at what CILT has to offer.
Both the CILT International and the CILT UK qualifications have been developed to compatible standards with the same level of attention to detail and content, but in the case of the International course the material have been written with an international audience in mind – and with ability for the local training providers to provide county/location specific case studies.
Courses are delivered locally by accredited training providers. The certificates and diplomas for the international courses are awarded by CILT.
Candidates who successfully pass the examinations, and subject to meeting qualifying experience criteria, may be awarded post designatory letters for Member (MILT) and Chartered Member (CMILT). Professional qualifications at both certificate and diploma levels offer supervisors and line managers a thorough and basic knowledge of logistics and transport management at the certificate level. The diploma is intended for middle managers and for those in, or aspiring to, senior management positions.
The certificate is equivalent to a first year degree standard while the diploma builds on the certificate as a step towards taking the advanced diploma which is accepted as equivalent to a university degree.
